This is a great resource for learning math in a fun way. I’ve been using it with my 5 year old who is learning to add and subtract. He likes it very much!
This is a cute and fun math game for kids. I love the option of muting the sound if needed, and having the battery door need a key to open it is a great idea for safety. It's very kid friendly in the feel and design. However, for kids younger than 6 or who have learning difficulties it may take an adult sitting next to them to help guide them through several problems before they get the hang of it on their own.
I have a homeschooler who learns math best when it's in the form of a game. This handheld math game has been a hit with her. There are different ways to play, which has helped me with keeping her interested. It's been a lot of fun and very helpful.

This is a fantastic toy for my 4-year-old. By just his second time playing, he was already picking up simple addition and subtraction! The default game includes 50 simple math problems, and after every 10 questions, the child earns a star, which is a fun way to keep them motivated. You can choose from several math topics, including:Simple addition and subtractionDouble-digit addition and subtractionMultiplication and divisionThe game also prompts a review of any missed questions, reinforcing learning in a positive way.The upper right-hand button walks your child through these math operations one step at a time (you can toggle between them). The upper left-hand button (marked with a carrot) offers a variety of other games, such as:Timed math challengesNumber comparisonPattern recognitionGuess the numberMemory-based number recallThere are different difficulty levels available, which helps keep the game engaging as your child progresses.Overall, this toy is not just entertaining—it’s a powerful learning tool that keeps kids challenged and excited about math. Highly recommended for early learners!
I ordered this for my 8-year-old grandson, hoping it would add some excitement to his math practice. While he flew through the levels quickly and found it easy to use, his interest faded after just a few days. He prefers rechargeable toys, and since this one requires batteries, it wasn’t a favorite.Overall, it’s a decent learning tool, but kids who grasp math concepts quickly may outgrow it fast. It might work better for children who need extra practice or enjoy repetition.
